Our Puppies
Autism assistance dogs ireland ran a competition on our facebook page asking for suggestions for our new online shop. The winner was Alan Earls with “Fashion Hounds” which we launched in April 2011 on facebook, as part of our continual fundraising. Alan’s prize was to have our next male puppy named Earl after him, and all funds raised from the shop will go towards Earls training costs.
Earl was donated to us on the 16 May 2011 at 10 weeks old, by Kasie Hobbart, Co Kerry. He is a cross between a German Shepherd and Golden Retriever and is looking forward to commencing his training to become an assistance dog and will spend the first 12 months being puppy fostered by Brian O’Flynn who will assist with socialising him in various environments that will give him the necessary skills to become a fully trained assistance dog.
Earl at 13 weeks old.
Earl at 5 months old.
Earl spends his sunday morning as a fundraiser at the Banteer Churchgate collection - 18th Sept 2011
