NAAS 7KM FUN RUN – 23 OCTOBER 2011

On a very rainy Sunday morning on 23rd October 2011 after months of hard work, preparation and dedication, Grainne McGrath hosted her first fundraiser for aadi - The 7km Naas fun-run commenced at 1pm From the Dowlings Bar in Naas, Co Kildare with a sea of red t-shirts and a special appearance from the Mayor of Naas Darren Scully.
All entrants were given a free day pass to Kilashee Leisure Club and Villa Spa. These were donated courtesy of the Kilashee Leisure Club who also donated a 1 year free membership prize to the raffle winner.
The whole team at aadi would like to offer a huge thanks and congratulations to Event Organiser Grainne McGrath and friends and family for organising and hosting this very successful event for us and a special thanks to everyone who turned up on the day and took part in the race.

CHEQUE PRESENTATION

After embarking on her fantastic 7km funrun fundraiser for us we were astounded to be presented with the fantastic sum of €9,264 that Grainne McGrath and friends raised from the event.

aadi director of fundraising Breeda Clancy travelled to the Killashee Leisure Club and Villa Spa, Naas, Co Kildare to meet Grainne and the manager of the spa to receive the cheque.

Well done Grainne, what an amazing achievement. We are very proud to have you as an ambassador for aadi.

Special thanks goes to the Killashee leisure club and Villa Spa who donated free day passes to all entrants of the run and a years membership prize to the winner of the raffle held after the event.
