Spring forward with two exciting AADI events in April

10 Mar 2022

As we move into Spring, we want to let you know about two exciting challenges we have planned for April to get you up and moving and help change the world for children with autism.

Climb High for AADI

'Climb High for AADI' is an event taking place on the afternoon of the 30th April (last day of Autism Awareness Month).

It is an 'in-person' outdoor challenge, organised by Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland, taking place at all 3 'ZipIt Forest Adventure' courses in Ireland (Cork, Dublin & Roscommon).

Tickets cost €35 per person and all participants are asked to aim to raise an additional €250 to support Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland's vital work.

The challenge is to complete the 3 toughest circuits on the ZipIt course (White, Blue & Red). The circuits are obstacle courses with a difference, they are above ground. The white circuit will take you as high as 10m, the Blue circuit as high as 15m, and the final Red circuit will take you a nerve-racking 20m above ground. Don't worry, safety harnesses will be provided and there will be plenty of other AADI participants and volunteers there to cheer you on!

This event is suitable for participants aged 15 years and older. Under 18's MUST have a parent/guardian's permission to enter and a supervising Adult MUST attend with them on the day. The supervising Adult does not have to enter/participate but they will need to be on the ground supervising their child along the course. Children younger than 15 will not be able to complete the full course, however, if you have a participant younger than 15 who is keen to enter please call Carla on 0864112123 to discuss.

Every participant will receive:

  • An AADI T-Shirt to wear on the day and take home as a momento (you may wish to wear a jumper underneath if it's chilly!)
  • A Completion Certificate
  • 2x Digital photos provided via email (1x pic of you in action, 1x pic of you with your Certificate and one of our dogs at the finish)
  • An information pack and sponsor card
  • An amazing afternoon of thrills, fun, and adrenaline!
