š Join us this October for the Ireland of Bali Guessing Challenge. Each day, youāll receive a photo of Bali, the beloved Community Support Dog at Douglas Street Campus, visiting a county in the Republic of Ireland.
Your task is to guess the county. With a ā¬5 entry fee, youāll support Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland and be in with a chance to win prizes over ā¬1,000!
About Bali & Cork ETB Douglas Street Campus
Bali is no ordinary dog ā he was bred, socialised and trained by Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland and joined Cork ETB Douglas Street Campus in January 2025. After Alison became his primary handler in December, Bali quickly stole everyoneās hearts with his calm nature and cheeky personality.
Although he loves to steal shoes and bring them out to the garden (thankfully he doesnāt chew them!), Bali can most often be found sprawled across the couch or offering his wagging tail and warm hugs to students who need them most.

At Douglas Street Campus, Bali has already made a huge impact. He began by spending time in Alisonās classroom, but soon started supporting the college counsellor too ā helping students who were anxious, overwhelmed, or struggling to communicate. This year, Baliās role is expanding:
- Weekly sessions with the college counsellor
- Time in the library, where students can relax and read alongside him
- A peer-led student programme where Bali helps strengthen community bonds, build friendships, and grow confidence

The campus has over 700 learners across subjects like hair and beauty, pharmacy, art, and veterinary nursing. With around 160 Animal Care and Animal Science students, Bali has found the perfect home ā bringing calm, connection, and joy to learners and staff alike.
Because AADI gifted Bali to us without asking for any fee, weāre committed to giving back. This fundraiser is one of the ways we want to show our gratitude and help more families and schools benefit from the life-changing support of an Autism Assistance Dog.
Baliās Summer Adventure
During Alisonās family summer holidays, as Baliās handler and guardian, they brought him to all 26 counties in the Republic of Ireland. Yes ā he had the best fun exploring beaches, cities, mountains, and hidden gems across the country.
Now itās your turn: can you guess where Bali is each day in October?
Game Tips
- Bali (in theory) visited the counties in an order that means he moved from one county to the next without passing through any other counties, with just one exception.
- Look for clues in the images. Landmarks, items or names. They wonāt be in ever county, but in many.
- Zooming in at times might help!
- Conduct a little research.
- Share the images with friends and family around the country- maybe they recognise somewhere you donāt!
- Please try and avoid artificial intelligence, its clever, but really not what the challenge is about! AI has NOT been used to generate ANY of these pictures, Bali really did visit all the locations!
Terms & Conditions
- This is a fundraising event for Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland. All funds generated go directly to Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland.
- The decision of the organisers is final.
- Any person who submits an answer sheet with all 26 county entries correct will be entered into a blind draw. One winner will be selected at random. Should no answer sheets have the correct 26 entries, the next highest number of correct guesses (ie 25/24 correct counties) will be the winner, or a draw will occur to select the winner.
- Spot prize winners for each county will also be drawn at random from correct entries of that county.
- ONLY entry answer sheets submitted to the email address irelandofbali@gmail.com from a registered email address will be accepted.
- Entries after midnight on 31st October will NOT be accepted.
- The winners will be contacted by email and must confirm that they are prepared to have their name published before Wednesday 3rd November 2025 and give a postal address.

The main prize includes vouchers to more than the value of 700 euro including weekend accommodation, a hotel, restaurant, tourist attractions and other locations around the country PLUS 300 euro cash. TOTAL prize worth over 1000 euro!
