Puppy Foster Care Supervisor - Munster Region

Location: AADI HQ (Little Island, Cork) - with regular travel throughout Munster and occasional travel to Dublin as required

Starting salary: €30,000 (Negotiable DOE)

AADI is now seeking a ‘Puppy Foster Care Supervisor’ for its Munster Puppy Program. The successful candidate will be managing and co-ordinating the Puppy Foster Care Program in the Munster region, managing a group of approximately 30 volunteer foster families and the ongoing health, welfare, early training and socialisation of the puppies in the program. We are seeking somebody with 2+yrs experience of puppy training and development with relevant canine behaviour qualifications.

Breeding and Acquisition Co-Ordinator

Location: AADI HQ (Little Island, Cork) - with regular travel throughout Ireland and occasional travel to Europe as required

Contract type: Permanent, Full-time 

Salary Scale: €35,000-€40,000

AADI is now seeking a Breeding & Acquisition Coordinator to join our passionate operations team. The Breeding & Acquisition Coordinator will lead and develop the charity’s breeding scheme to achieve excellence for the charity in these areas. The successful candidate will be based at our Head Quarters in Little Island, Cork and will spend their time developing and growing the charity’s breeding programme and will be in charge of the purchasing of external bred puppies. The role has a national remit and regular travel will be required within Ireland and Europe in order to visit breeders and collect and deliver puppies. We are seeking somebody with working knowledge of different breeding lines and an in-depth knowledge of dog breeding and a good understanding of puppy development, in particular within the nest.

Apprentice Assistance Dog Instructor

Location: AADI HQ (Little Island, Cork) - with travel and overnights, throughout Ireland, required when working with clients on aftercare and for home assessments.  (This is  approximately 6 weeks per year)

Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland are expanding their Assistance Dog Programme and are recruiting an Apprentice Autism Assistance Dog Instructor to join the team. We are looking for someone with at least 2 years practical dog handling experience and a qualification in canine behaviour and/or social science, nursing or other people, training or dog related disaplines. This is a 2.5 year apprenticeship style programme where you will work under the supervision of one of our Qualified Instructors training assistance dogs for children with autism.

Financial Administrator

Location: AADI HQ, Little Island, Cork

Contract type: Permanent, Part-time 8-10hrs per week

Salary: €13.30-€14.80 per hour.

As the Financial Administrator you will support the CEO and Head of Fundraising to ensure all income and expenditure is recorded accurately and in a timely manner. You will ensure all invoices and receipts are recorded accurately in our accounting software and process purchase orders on our database. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and be confident utilising IT software.

Contract type: Permanent, Part-time 15hrs per week

Salary scale: €25,000-€30,000 pro-rata based on a 39hr full-time equivalent week.
