Our handsome boy Triton has made history as the first male AADI dog selected for the Assistance Dogs International Breeding Collaborative.
His frozen semen will be stored in the University of Liege in Belgium and will play a part in creating Guide and Assistance dogs for both adults and children across Europe.
This incredible opportunity is the result of our careful, data-driven breeding and selection. By using behavioural and health data, we choose the best parents, giving every puppy the greatest chance to become a calm, confident service dog.
A huge thank you to Johnson & Johnson in Limerick for sponsoring Triton, and to his amazing fosterer Michelle McCaffery for supporting him every step of the way.
Triton’s legacy changes lives in Ireland and far beyond. And the best part? Triton will soon begin his own training to become an autism assistance dog.
