At Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland (AADI), we’ve always held ourselves to the highest standards, because the families we serve deserve nothing less. That’s why we’re so proud to share that we’ve been awarded the Triple Lock Standard by Charities Institute Ireland.
This is a powerful public commitment to transparency, ethical fundraising, and good governance. It’s your reassurance that every donation is handled with care, every action guided by integrity, and every euro used to transform lives.

What Is the Triple Lock?
Awarded annually by Charities Institute Ireland, the representative body for Ireland’s leading and high-impact fundraising charities, the Triple Lock Standard is the gold seal of excellence in the Irish charity sector. It’s recognised by supporters, corporate donors, and policy makers as the benchmark for best practice, and not every charity earns it.
To achieve the Triple Lock, charities must meet strict criteria across three key areas:
🔹 Transparent Reporting
Publishing annual reports and financial statements in full compliance with Charity SORP (FRS102).
🔹 Good Governance
Adopting and meeting all core principles of the Charities Governance Code.
🔹 Ethical Fundraising
Committing to the Charities Regulator’s guidelines to ensure all donations are raised and used responsibly.
Why It Matters for AADI
For 15 years, AADI has operated without any government funding, relying entirely on the generosity of people like you. In that time, we’ve placed 138 life-changing assistance dogs, bringing independence, safety, and hope to autistic children and their families across Ireland.
With the Triple Lock Standard behind us, you can be absolutely sure that your support is in safe hands — and that every contribution is going further for families who need us now more than ever.
