Absolutely, I'll revise your inspiring story to reflect the change in the charity you're supporting. Here's the updated text:

I'm running my first marathon to support Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland, a charity that provides highly trained assistance dogs to children with autism and their families. Since its inception, Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland has been committed to improving the quality of life for children with autism, offering them a greater sense of independence and safety, and providing their families with a trusted friend and companion for their child. Your donation will play a vital role in continuing the training and placement of these remarkable dogs with families in need across Ireland.

My journey to this marathon has been a battle against obesity and a family history of heart disease. After moving from Brazil to Ireland, I was captivated by the vibrant running community here. Although I initially swore off running after a challenging 5km, the onset of the pandemic in 2020 reignited my determination. I turned to running as my salvation, a decision further supported by life-changing bariatric surgery. Running has been transformative for me, helping me lose 32kg and giving me a new lease on life. With a half marathon personal record of 1:53, I'm now poised to tackle the Dublin Marathon. This challenge is not just for me but is also a tribute to the city that redefined my limits and a beacon of hope for others facing their own battles. Supporting Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland through this marathon is a dream 42 years in the making. It’s a chance to combine my passion for running with my commitment to making a difference, impacting the lives of children with autism and their families.
