80K in April - Autism Heroes 2024 Challenge

For Autism Awareness Month, we are supporting children with autism and families across Ireland.

The ‘80K in April’ challenge for Austim Assistance Dogs Ireland (AADI) is asking supporters to commit to walking or running 80 kilometres (50 miles) over 30 days in the month of April. To raise vitally needed funds to train assistance dogs for children with autism.

The aim of the campaign is to reopen the Application Process in 2024 for children and families to get their Autism Assistance Dogs. Thanks to your donation, we are on track to helping AADI reach their goal!

It costs €25,000 and takes 2 years to train and place an assistance dog. AADI do not charge families for these life transforming dogs. The charity is entirely supported by fundraising and donations. Please donate what you can and support us and this wonderful charity.
