AADI is calling for nominations to win up €28,000 through AIB’s Community Fund
We are encouraging you to nominate us for a chance to win up to €28,000 as part of AIB’s Community Fund, which is giving over €1million away to charities.
The bank is asking its customers and the wider public to nominate registered charities that connect with causes that matter most to them and their communities.
AIB will allocate €700,000 to charities chosen by its customers and the public while €300,000 will come from charities chosen by the bank’s employees.
The fund will be distributed following an online nomination process, one for customers and one for employees, and will be split across five regions in Ireland – Greater Dublin, the Rest of Leinster, Munster, Connaught and Ulster.
Once the nomination deadline is closed, the reviewing process will commence and you will hear who the top four charities are once they are announced at the end of the process. The top four charities in each region will be posted to AIB’s website aib.ie/community.
The six charities in each region with the highest number of nominations will be given the opportunity to present to a panel of reviewers. Each charity who presents will receive financial support from the fund. The top four charities in Greater Dublin; Rest of Leinster; Munster; Connaught will receive €28,000 – Ulster (ROI) will receive €23,000 and the two runner-up charities in each region will receive €4,000. The funds will be awarded proportionally across Ireland based on population spread and branch network.
